ATI and voodoo2 combo nfg...

I can't get my voodoo2/1000 to work with my ATI All-In-Wonder 32 meg card. I've tried countless drivers for each card and after a few minutes the games video locks in 3dfx. The game keeps running, just the video locks. In direct3d it works fine...the card is NOT overheating...
anyone with any ideas on this? Are ATI and voodoo2 boards not compatible?
The voodoo2 is a MaxiGamer 3d2 by Guillemot.

oh yeah...cpu is on a Tyan Trinity 400 MoBo with 128 megs pc133 ram...

I once had a combo ATI-Voodoo2. I also had a problem with the ATI and Voodoo fighting over who will work with openGL and Direct3D.

The only solution I eventually found was to let the ATI use the poor default driver provided by Windows and update only my Voodoo2 driver. But then, my ATI was only a Rage Pro 8Mb, so the voodoo2 was much better.
You have a better ATI card, so maybe you won't want to do this...
