OK, I don't know about all of you, but I'm getting really sick and tired of having to load that monster page every time I want to read the thread. I love reading the thread, but it's getting downright ridiculous.

augidog, I must commend you on an excellent thread!!! 107 posts last time I checked! However, do you have a problem if this becomes the new thread to ease all of our problems (at least for another 100 posts http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif).

Well, if no one objects, begin posting!

OK... Im in!

No more P3, gave it back! (whimper whimper whimper...)

Now I put a P2-333 in the BH6 at 500Mhz/2.3v
Runs like a champ! Give it an A+ for perf and OC'ability.

Just add 4 of my other systems up to get the rough equivalent, then put another BH6/C300a at 450 in the mix!

Aww... My modest little PII 266 O/C'ed to 300 with 32 megs ram seems downright slow compared to everyone else... But I bet mine was cheaper, so I'm happy. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Hey augidog, what OS do you use in your proxy? If it is Linux, what proxy package did you install?

Hey DavidX, if you're looking to get rid of that bad machine, look no farther than me! I'll take it off your hands http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Be happy with what you've got (but dream for more!).

hmm . . . yes, I guess that "even worse" bit was a poor choice of words! I'm actually rather proud of my creation [blushes]. It's not going to win any prizes but it's not bad for a very tight budget - many of the bits picked up second-hand at carboot sales (a UK equivalent of garage sales and the like). Best of all, it all works like a charm (fingers crossed).

So forget it, Ryan! No-one takes my baby from me - well, not yet anyway http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

lol http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I fully agree, I won't parting ways with my 225MMX anytime soon! It may not be the latest or greatest, but it plays MP3s and surfs the internet very nicely!

At some point, I want to go to a few computer shows and see what they have to offer (and at what price!).
