Well, I ended up getting more money than I thought I would so instead of the Voodoo3 3000 or the Viper II, I was going to get a Voodoo3 3500 TV, but then I saw my new card hidden at the back of a shelf. An open box special Rage Fury Maxx, for $200.00 with a manufacturer's rebate of $30.00. Now here's the weird part. I removed the old card and drivers from the system and installed the new one, then ran a timedemo in Q2 and Q3. 30fps and 15fps respectively. I tried for an hour to figure out what was wrong, then on a whim, I took my Celeon 466@581 out and put in my P2-350@434. The framerates doubled. Why?!?!?!

~EDIT:
Oh yeah, rest of the system.

Maybe it has something to do with your bus speed being higher than with your Celeron. I know the Rage Fury Maxx is a very CPU dependant card. It really does the best with PIII/SSE instructions.
