Hello,

No matter what I try, I can't seem to get the AGP functionality to work on my computer.

Here's what I'm working with;

K6-2 500 (5x100x2.4v, o/c'ed)
FIC VIA503+ MVP3 (bios je1536)
128M PC100 SD (Siemens)
ATI Xpert 2000RagePRO 32M 2X (4.11.6263)
Yamaha Waveforce Digital (4.07.1040)
Twin Fireball 8 giggers (DMA/33)
Panasonic 40x (DMA/33)
Via 4in1 drivers ver 4.20
Win 95 OSR 2.1 1212

I install all my software in the method Via reccommends ( Win, k62upd, usbsupp, directx 7 video driver, sound, via4in1 ), I use agplist to determine proper bios and software settings. The first game I run will **** out within a minute, either the monitor will go into suspend mode (blinking yellow light) the computer will freeze, or it'll go into a spontaneous reboot. I have successfully tracked all these problems to microsoft's usbsupp.exe, and when removed the computer will run without a single crash. I would really like to get this resolved before I leave for Australia, with the pc in my family's care.

I will appreciate any help I can get.

Windows 95 does not have support for AGP. I heard M$ was going to put AGP support in OSR2.5 but I am not sure if they did. If you go to the device manager and click on Display Adapters then go to resources you should see that there are memory addressing issues.

I totally missed the Win95 reference, butchrecon. I'm pretty sure you have to have OSR 2.5 for AGP support.
