They use dos 6.22 I believe. Does it require 6.0? It should work with the win9x boot disk. hydraulic 03-17-2000, 08:39 AM wyvrn: I already tried win-98 boot disk but I keep getting out of memory errors . usually when I flash a bios I use win 98 boot disk and shift+f5 and that of course puts me at the a prompt then I type update and the flash utility does everything for me. but like I said I get out of memory errors now.so I went Back to epoxs site and it said to use a disk with 2 files on it to boot(device=himen.sys)and (dos=high, umb )in it according to epox.but that does not work. the only other option is to use a dos6.0 boot disk according to epox. Colonel Casio 03-17-2000, 08:50 AM I believe what you need is a basic DOS system disk. A basic system disk has three files on it: IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS & COMMAND.COM.To make one open a DOS box, & put in a blank formatted floppy. Next type SYS A: at the dos prompt. Then press enter. Wait for the message System transfered to appear. Presto you have a basic DOS system disk. hydraulic 03-17-2000, 10:04 AM Colonel Casio: thanks but it did'nt work,I'm stumped, any other ideas? hydraulic 03-17-2000, 10:30 AM well I finally got the bios to flash,I was searching around epoxs site and found a fix,get this!, all you have to do is set the hard drives to off,now thats a new one for me http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif thanks for the help everybody http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif SysOpt.com
