That way you can check both. Dave_H 03-14-2000, 08:11 PM You should have different addresses for the 2 accounts, so just forward it to the proper address. Even easier, make new contacts in the address book, one called "Home" one called "Work". Sorry if I misunderstood Barry. Dave barry glisson 03-15-2000, 09:30 AM this is one of our producers one acount is on a company computer ,at a company address the other is on her private computer at her residence, she wont be in her office for a couple of months.hope this is more clear if it even makes a difference. barry daveleau 03-15-2000, 09:56 AM Does the email service offer forwarding? Some do. I will check for a utility but think it would be up to the ISP to do it for you. Dave Also, I can get my work email from home by connecting to the server remotely. This might be possible too. Dave [This message has been edited by Dave_H (edited 03-15-2000).] jad1097 03-15-2000, 11:33 AM If it is a pop3 or Imap account Outlook 2000 will allow her to create another mail account in Tools/accounts>ADD>mail In Outlook express5 it is the same but you could also add a HTML account. This may do what you want. http://www6.zdnet.com/cgi-bin/texis/swlib/hotfiles/info.html?fcode=000ZBE or this http://hotfiles.zdnet.com/cgi-bin/texis/swlib/hotfiles/info.html?fcode=000GDW or this http://hotfiles.zdnet.com/cgi-bin/texis/swlib/hotfiles/info.html?fcode=0014CY [This message has been edited by jad1097 (edited 03-15-2000).] psyklone 03-15-2000, 11:52 AM if you're talking about what i think you are ... you want mail forwarded from the office account to a home account because of not being in the office, yes? i had to do this with a mail account of mine at work once and the best way to do it is just create a message rule stating that any message sent to the mail account be forwarded to the other account. that is pretty simple to do, but i'm not sure that's quite what you're wanting... barry glisson 03-15-2000, 04:19 PM psyklone thats exactly what she wants to do. barry psyklone 03-16-2000, 10:08 AM barry, that's what it sounded like. what type of email program is being used at the office, is it something like outlook, outlook express, or eudora .... or is something like CC Mail? barry glisson 03-16-2000, 06:15 PM psyklone,i dont know ill find out tomorrow. thanks barry Idnew 03-16-2000, 07:49 PM Also most e-mail can be imported. She can import her company mail to her home from whatever e-mail she uses. She just needs to know her pop server and since they are both the same that should be no problem.
