I have two voodoo2s (creative labs) one is 12 meg and one is 8 meg. I had the creative labs drivers installed and it worked ok, but the 12 meg was brought down to and 8 meg level so it showed 16 meg total. I also had graphics problems in Rouge Spear. I downloaded the 3dfx reference drivers and it now shows the correct amount (20 meg), but I am still having problems with Rogue Spear. ex. the raindrops are large and made of lines. The backgrounds have lines in them, and sometime the crosshair has a red lined box around it. I can run quake 3 arena at max resolution and detail, and its AWSOME! Halflife opposing force is working ok as well. I can cancel interleave, and it clears Rogue Spear right up. I also have an ATI all in wonder agp, but I select the Voodoo2 in the Rogue Spear config program. I saw that the 3dfx site said something about disabling vsync, but I dont see that option on the reference driver. Does anyone have any ideas on whats going on with Rogue Spear in sli mode???? Any help is appreciated. If possible email me any ideas at oneshotcop@aol.com Thanks in advance

Ok, I got it to run in Rogue Spear by messing with the mip option, now another question. Where can I get an overclocking program for Voodoo2's in SLI mode? And since I have to use the reference drivers, will an overclocking program alter the reference drivers and set it back to 16 megs total??

Dont know if it would correct the memory problem but Voodoo2 Tweaker will overclock them for ya.

OneShot, dont know if you care or not but here goes.....SLI is ONLY enabled if you have two of the same MB size boards. If you do not, then the board thats hooked up as the primary takes over, thus no SLI. It is working cause essentially you are only using one card....kind of a waste I know, but I would bet that if you would just use your 12MB card, the performance would be better than the 8MB that its using now. And I would also place a wager that your video probs would also disapear, assuming that your drivers and DirectX is in order. Good Luck http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Actually I did some research and found out that if you run the creative labs drivers it will run in SLI mode, but it drops the 12 meg down to 8 meg specs. After I installed it it showed that it was in SLI mode, but it only showed a total of 16 megs. I then downloaded the reference drivers from 3DFX, and it corrects that problem. Now it shows SLI mode enabled and has a total of 20 megs. I know its working because I can now run Quake 3 in 32 bit at a pretty high resolution with no jittering at all. I did see on the "official" sites that you cant run an 8 and 12 meg together, but I am! It is awsome!
