I have the viewsonic PS-790 monitor, and there are two types of connectors. The normal 15-pin cable, and the BNC connectors (5x). My question is what advantages are there on running the BNC connectors vs the 15-pin?

PS. the only thing I can think of is that ther is less chance for the signal to interrupted because it splits the signal into 5 different channels.
