Does anybody know an overclocking tool than can overclock my riva tnt2 ultra in win2k? I have tried powerstrip but it does not work under win2k and no manufacturers are making drivers other than nvidia reference ones...
Have a nice day!
The reference detonator drivers have a registry key that will give a OC function as a hardware tab. I believe this also works for W2K if you use the reference drivers, not the ones W2K installs for the TNT2/TNT2U.
Almost forgot...here is the reg key: V-Sync and OC Key (http://www.jacksonville.net/~bhunter/334_vsync.reg)

Working Win2K, GUD Luck. I was a beta tester for MS, went through beta I and II, no problem, just the usual bugs. In fact I was impressed. Then came beta III, blew me out of the water!! I lost my A-W-Q. Checked with several other beta testers in my area, and found they had the same problem(s). What ever MS did to beta III, it sure put the E-Tiez on that OS. I can tell you this, before you even think of loading Win2K, you had better have the latest and greatest from your mfgr's in the way of DRIVERS, and I'm talking about 'drivers' built especially for Win2K.

Funnily enough, I have been using the final release for about a month and it seems **** impressive to me. I haven't had a single problem with it, no BSDs since install and perfectly stable on my 366@550, more than I can say for that piece of **** win 98...
BTW anybody know how to edit that registry key?
If you download the key above, all you have to do is double click the file to import it.
After doing this, the next time you open the reference drivers display settings tab, go to advanced, click 'Riva TNTx...' tab, select additional properties, and a hardware tab will be present. You can OC with that.
It should look something like this:
