When monitors say they have a certain dot pitch is that horizontal AND vertical. The reason I ask is the Optiquest V95 says it has a .26 dot pitch, while the Optiquest Q95 says it has a .23 horizontal dot pitch and a .14 vertical dot pitch. Is this unusual to have different pitches for horizontal and vertical? The Q95 seems to have the finer dot pitch but it's cheaper than the V95.?

Hi raz,
Here's a link that explains dot pitch much better than I would be able to.

Good luck,

Thanks Chainsaw, that helped. I always disregarded all that 'greek' in the monitor specs. Now I can understand it a little better.
