Help!!!! My RIVA TNT 2 card is bloking my sound.

Is there anyone out there who can help me?
I have just bought the new Tornado RIVA TNT 2 card, and when I got home and installed it my sound was gone. Plus, I don't think that my RIVA TNT 2 card is installed probertly. Please help me. I don't know much about computers so explain it to me as simples as posible

Please tell us what kind of computer you have.
Also, did the monitor connect to a port (before you installed the tnt card) that is built-in to the motherboard?
If so, the first step would be to remove the tnt card and go back to the original video port. Power up & let windows re-detect your original video & sound. (I assume you are using windows 95/98) Then get back to us.

It sounds like you have an irq or i/o conflict. Someone else may be able to help you much more than I can.
