refesh rate problem

Change your monitor driver to something that works Like "Supervga 1024*768 @75hz". I have used this driver before and find it to be very good because it give the option of 75hz at like every resolution up to 1024*768

I have a S3 2mb video card (yes crappy, i know). In win95 i could display 800x600 as the video drvier added a tab to the Display dialog box which allow me to manually choose the correct refresh rate for my old monitor. Now in win98 no such tab appears and the only refresh rates available to me are Adapter Default and Optimal neither of which work at 800x600. So Im stuck at 640x480.
Any suggestions anyone?
