CL Annihilator (sdr) problem

I installed a CL-Annih. in my machine last night and everything went fine except none of my USB peripherals work now. I have the 2 ports on the mobo and 2 on an add-on card to double the bandwith limitation of 12 MB. I go into the devic managers and it says my General root hub is not functioning properly and to check all plugs to make sure they are secure. This affects all 4 ports and all devices. Here are my system specs:

Everything works except the USB devices and I have disabled hardware on IRQs 7,3 and 9 (LPT1, Com2, SB Live!) to see if it was an IRQ error since all were full. I replaced a Voodoo3 3000 with the Annihilator. Windows is also now unstable. It has randomly rebooted several times. My hdd was defragmented just a few days ago. My registry was clean of errors before the installation. The only problem is my this USB general root hub. Any ideas? Thanks and sorry for the long post.

Also, I have not updated my BIOS. Would that help? Is there an issue with the CL GeForce? I have removed the peripherals that didn't work and rebooted to have Win98SE reinstall them, reboot and still find the same error. Both the USB Root Hubs that were there before work fine. It's this new profile that has shown up (general purpose root hub) that has the conflict. I have tried disabling it and rebooting but still have the same error. The devices work properly for about 5 seconds during boot-up but fail as the system tray fills.

OK- Everything is resolved. How'd I fix it? I took out that nasty CL Annihilator (for now) and replaced it with my shining Voodoo 3 3K. No more headache. no more problems with USB devices. I am happy!
