I've got a check for you. E-mail me either your or the address for the LMSS.

My dad has had MS for about 35 years, as well as more recently a degenerative neuromuscular disease that has affected his spine. I can't remember DAD not having slurred speech, a staggering gait and a tremendous swallowing problem (he'd almost choke to death every meal time).
As we speak, he's confined to a bed in a nursing home specializing in pulmonary care (he get's aspiration pneumonia easily) and has a trache and a feeding tube. He taps out all communications with his left hand (the only extremity that hasn't atrophied). But half of what he taps out is HUMOR. He's a tremedous guy with a zest for life that I'll never understand ... he is my HERO.

MS is such an insidious disease. I have friends that are in their 30's that already present signs -- temporary blindness, numbing sensation in the extremities.

Consequently, I ALWAYS give to all causes MS.

So, I'd rather give you a check and have you buy what you need for the LMSS than me scrape together some cast-offs from here and you may not be able to use them.

The man (Insane Morphius) just sent me a not too cheap video card cause he's cool and giving person, what about the rest of you guys. Give a little , you'll geta lot. Esspecially for those that can't fend for themselves. By , god , I challenge the whole D-mn membership to pitch in one item or at least a good thought.

Hey Dave,

I just did something that I think was clever. I was going to sign up for PayPal anyway (seeing as their $10 signup offer ends tomorrow) and I didn't know anyone whom I cared to refer. However, I filled your email address in the referral line and hey presto! Your name popped up. I think you get $10...you can use it however you like, for yourself or for the MSS, and don't worry about a receipt.
