agp 1x or 2x

i have a fic va503+mobo flashed bios to 1.15je37 now the new bios bios files have elliminated the 1x or 2x chioce from bios power strip says my viper v770 tnt2 ultra is running in 1x sandra says the same thing is this a large performance hit or not?

answered my own question from another post in another forum. hardware central says performance increase between 1x and 2x agp is about 1%.
