My electricity must have blinked off last night because when I woke up this morning my clock/radio alarm didn't go off and it was flashing...kinda taunting me...your late!-your late!-your late!
My computer had obviously rebooted, but it was up and running, and rc5 was crunching, and Zone Alarm was running as normal.
So, gimme some suggestions on how I can make my computer wake me up. Even if it reboots during the night. (For the life of me, I cannot find a windup alarm clock.)

I'm sure download.com has a utility to do just that. I'll go and get a link.

Here's a link. Looks like some neat options.

Or you can just use 'Task Scheduler' to play/launch a file at a certain time. Instead of installing 'another' program just to serve that purpose. That is of course if you have 'Task Scheduler' still running on your machine.

My cat keeps me from oversleeping too much. She'll wake me up about 15 minutes after I am supposed to be at work. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Anyway to adjust the clock on a cat? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

hehe, well, I have a cat, but he only gets in my face and wakes me up between the hours of 12am and 3am. And I guess he does it just for fun because he has food/water, and the backdoor is open for him to go out...he just likes to wake me up, the little brat! Task Scheduler is long gone. That's one of the first things I nuke. I could always just reinstall it....
But some of those alarm programs look pretty cool. Thanks Daveleau! Wake up to MP3s...yeah, I think Pantera at full volume oughta get me outta bed...huh?

Pantera would probably put me back to sleep. That is classical music right? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

The way my system acts sometimes, I don't think I'd trust it to wake me up. I can't see myself explaining to my boss that I was late for work because of a GPF or blue screen! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
