For me. Since it's a confusion and English is definatly my second language, please understand there might be some flaws of speech. ;P
OK into the case. Since it's Christmas now - there is nothing more to think about other then the hardware purchase. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif
well the excuse for buying a new motherboard is all over, I could wait for the I820 with DIMM next Q1 2000. Well. I thought it was the VRM of my motherboard being inactive or something to cause my V3 3000 to show visual artifacts like texture cracking, is actually due to the main Voltage Regulator not providing the board or AGP bus with sufficient voltage, but this is not the case. I placed a case fan facing straight on the huge heatsink of the board and all problems are gone! Man I can't believe I didn't think of it in earlier times. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif
The real case for the major Christmas purchase now had totally changed, while some strange 'feelings' suddenly came to mind where I should also forget a GeForce DDR board.. To be real honest, I had been dreaming of one since it was first announced by the announcment of the
CLGeForce/Annihiliator Pro.. Just don't know why.. I don't even feel like spending US$199 for even the Viper2! I used to really want the new T&L engines of both of the graphic(2D/3D) chips(Or chipset depending on the base architecture) but now - I want to spend it on other things!!!!
What's wrong with me??! How could things change so quickly?! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
Now I have US$300 to spare for nothing worth to buy. Hey an IntelliEye Explorer would be nice - no.. that'll be 56 bucks! 'D
Hmmm.. maybe the WickedGL miniGL driver saved me? Maybe I suddenly feel that the fact I only play games at 1280x1024 max.(1024x768 for Quake3) impressed me while I compare visuals with the GeForce? Don't know Why!
Hmm.. Maybe a force feedback joystick, the IntelliEye Explorer, with another game? or am I being stupid? Could you please sort out my misery?? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif
