To all you Gals and Guys out there.

I know I have'nt been posting much of late, but I have had a few things to sort out,
Well I have had another scan, and the Doc's says I have to have an Op tomorrow, and I am not feeling to good about it, so if you don't see me post again for a while you'll know why.

With luck on my side I should be back visting my favourite BBS in about 3 weeks.

Prayers, see ya soon.. I too have had a couple in the last decade. The one in 1992 was tough, the sedatives they used back then made me sick for a long time.. Then GLORY to whoever made the new stuff cause it's great.. I had a shoulder op in 96 and there was absouletely no affect later from it.. so one thing you don't have to worry about is the dreaded sickness that we used to have to contend with.. I hope you will check out the pretty girls for us and give a report later.. Best o Luck, DrVette

Daniel son of WW

got it, the old man locked everything down with new passwords and keylocks this time, i think he was not happy with what I did to his email last time.

Any way, he has had his op, I heard the doctor say apart from his heart stopping for about 30 seconds it would appear to have been a good op, the blood is now running without restriction, and he is getting a 112 over 72 blood pressure report each time the nurse takes it, also the area that was bulging and cutting the nerves is now gone and they reckon that with time he may get full use of everything again, even if he has some areas that are numb then that will be better than before.
He must be getting better as he made them take out the drip and has refused to take any pain killers, as for hospital food, it's like a five star hotel, it's as good as going out to dine.
I will keep you all up to date, and if any of you know the other BB that Dad uses maybe one of you could let them know.
thanks to any one who can help there, as this system I have had to use isn't as good as the old mans one, a real pain in the you know what.

Hello all, just to bring you up to date, the old man comes home Friday NZ time,he is back on his feet, a little rocky but with physio should make full recovery now, until he went into hospital this time I never realised how stubborn he was, as I found out some things about him I did not know before, seems he has been in tight spots most of his life, but he just some how comes back, no matter what is thrown at him, ( I found out he fell of a barn roof when he was 4 and landed on his back on a concrete floor and walked away from it, events just like this most of his life, so some one up there must either like him, or the guy down stairs don't want the competition http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif )
any way he will probably be demanding to get on line as soon as he is back, I know the last meesage from Socalgal got him real worried in case his log on had been cracked, thank fully it was an error, and that calmed him down again.

Hi Gals and Guys, Great to be back, even if it's only a short visit, "Her in doors" is gone off to do some shopping and doesn't know I have sneaked into the work shop.

Well what can I say you have all been great, I got so many e-mails it will be impossible to answer them all, it would take to long, so I will thank every one hear and now , you are all a great bunch.

One e-mail springs to mind though, maybe should send my glasses to sender (J.K.U. lass) http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Well they have sorted most of the problems out that wee a result of my you know what last year, and after the pipe cleaners and hacking away at thing that should not be there I can now look forward to walking again even without the aid of a stick, plus increase blood flow has done wonders for my memory recall.

if I typed out all the names of senders of best wishes , get well , and miss you cards cards Scot or Socalgal would have to edit the page for takeing up to much memory on the server, so to every one

"THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT"

sorry for shouting but it's the way I feal about you all with your support

As I sead it's only a brief visit, I hope the next one I won't be looking over my shoulder, in case I get told off.

Well some one asked for an update to be posted, so blame them.

Yes I am doing great, even found the keys to my auto which had not been started for months, "Her in doors" was out and about, so I fired the auto up, half expected the battery to be flat, but she started about the 3rd turn, I managed to drive down to the village shop ( they call it a dairy here) to get a few provisions, nicko sticks ran out, don,t moan at me they stop most of my other pleasures, and they are my only no no left.
Must admit it's great to be walking about again, left leg is still a bit numb but the area of numbness seem to be getting less each week, though the doctor states it is likly that I will have an area that will always be that way.

Last few days though I have been thinking of hanging up the soldering iron and packing the osciloscope away, and retiring, maybe even a change of country, but there again to get into another country now would be hard, 15 years younger and I might have tried for semi retirement in Orlando, or some where warm in winter.
