Thx... seti 12-11-1999, 08:05 AM Ha other than vid card posts go in vid card forum.... I have serious doubts this vapour ware will ever make it to market. It's got to be super hard to crack into the most competitive market in the computer industry for a newcomer. And really, if they're haveing such a hard time bringing this to market, what would they have up there sleeves in six months when it's time to release another product. I guess they could just pull a 3dfx/ati and just stick more chips on there. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif (I know the vsa-100 is different architecture, I just find it funny.) RobRich 12-11-1999, 05:21 PM Glaze3D has made it to finalized production planning, but the silicon prototype is still some time off, meaning it's still vaporware. I've been hoping for this chip for over two years now, and they have still yet to deliver. By the time it does reach the shelves, nVidia and 3dfx will already be there. If you interested in high end performance today, try the Giga-Pixel GP-1 and GP-2. The cards DO exist in hardware form, are relatively cheap to produce, and should be on the market by q2 2000. An undisclosed major vendor has already liscenced the chipset design, so hopefully these will meet their projected release date.
