Best video card for DVD and 3D?

Hi all,

I've been looking for a good card that can do both decent 3D games and DVD playback. I have a P III, so software decoding on my TNT2 is fine, but I'm interested in better image quality (plus motion compensation, etc.) that ATI cards feature. I've been looking for the Rage Fury Pro for a while now but I can't find it, is it out yet?

Ultimately I'd like to know which card is best for decent Quake 3 action and beautiful DVD output. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the ati rage fury 32mb agp and it has not given me one fit yet when it comes to playing dvd's. i tried some of the software decoders and they just coudlnt do the trick...as for quake 3, I coudlnt tell ya. But all my other games run beautifully. My next step is an ati all in wonder 128 so i can take out my tv tuner card for an extra pci slot http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
