Problem with Diamond Viper V770

I have just installed a new HDD. Am am using my old drive as the slave and the new one is now the master. Yes, the jumpers are set correctly and the drives are being recognized. Now I am experiencing problems with my V770. Whenever I attempt to run an application in OpenGL mode, the program either locks up hard or runs at an absolute crawl. The same goes for viewing the windows 3d text screen saver. I have tried installing various drivers and have checked for IRQ conflicts. Is it possible that the board is partially fried? I am at a real loss and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

Heh, umm... Ignore that last desperate plea for help. I figured out what was wrong. Apparently I DIDN'T check my BIOS close enough and I found something that wasn't configured correctly. thx anyway.
