Hey, so I sent Mr. Helman (?) a note... will let you know if he can work the miracle. I'm hoping I can send the serial number of my monitor or something like that as proof of purchase instead of the UPC.

If this works out, my faith in marketing will be restored. (huh?)

Actually, does anyone know what the UPC symbol encodes, anyway?

Samsung came through with my rebate!!! The check arrived today... it may seem a little late to you, but given that I had thrown the UPC away (see above thread) it's fine by me. Helman Lukito was a great help...
