Well then go for Diamond's Viper770 TNT2 Ultra it has the best drivers (reference that is /forum/smile.gif ) and full ICD OpenGL driver. And for 3D rendering is great.

Or If you want more than games go for the voodoo3 3500TV, it's really fast and the TV, DVD, etc. features are great. Just one thing: v3 doesn't support 32-bit rendering. you may or may not see the difference between 16 and 32 bit.

G400 or wait for GEFORCE.

Or buy a 16M TNT2 Viper 770 (OEM) and use TNTCLK to set it to 150/175. (This is the cheap way, but it works great!)

Get the Matrox Millenium G400 MAX version! It's bottlenecked to the most recent games and future coming ones too! Since it's OpenGL drivers are a bit too weak, compared to TNT,TNT2 and TNT2 Ultra, Matrox will be shipping a new driver, called TURBOGL tomorrow! Which is October 8, 1999. This driver will increase your OpenGL performances up to 40%! /forum/smile.gif However, it's only made for the Matrox G400 series, including the Marvel G400 one and it needs SSE or 3d!Now to use this. So, if you don't have a P3 or 3D!NOW, don't bother to get matrox g400.

The G400Max would have been my card if they hadn't taken so long to get out. I'm running a V7702U instead and very happy with it - for now /forum/smile.gif

Good news! Matrox has released their new TURBO GL ICD. It can make your OpenGL games go faster, up to 45%! Man, if matrox keeps improving their G400 drivers, sooner or later, it's gonna be AN EXTREMELY KICK *** VIDEO CARD! /forum/smile.gif
