If they're basically the same card (voodoo banshee chipset), why does the Diamond Monster Fusion cost $20 more than the CL Banshee on average?

RobRich 10-04-1999, 09:43 PM You pay for a couple of extra options. The creative card just has a heatsink with no fan and is defualt clocked at 100/100. If I remember right, the Fusion has a fan/heatsink combo and is slightly overccoked from reference specs. I used to run a creative card at 120/120 with a 486 fan cooling it. The Diamond, if retail, might have a game with it, too. Creative sales you a card with a driver cd, nothing more. As for whether or not to buy one, save your money. They are decent cards but newer tech, like the v3 2000 ot 16meg TNT-2, can be bought for under $100 US. Yo'' be a lot better off with one of these newer cards.
