We'll ya'll,I got a reply from ADI.The techrep said it's an excellent idea,and it will prolong the life of the monitor(especilly large monitors).
I,also, called a local monitor repair outfit,and he concured.
3dcool.com has a monitor cooler(thanks for the tip"WANMAN"),or,you can rig up one from cheap/spare parts....DawgTuff.
