file sharing with sons machine ?

I have some very large files that I want to install on my sons machine.I dont want to pull his hard drive out and put it in mine to install these.Is there a cable and maybe some software that does this without spending alot of money ?

You can use a parallel cable, or maybe a serial modem cable, but thats about it. Windows has native support for filesharing using these techniques.

This is the time when you should think about a home LAN. You'll find it very useful in the future.

You could get a couple of NIC's and a crossover cable.Quicker than parallel conection.
