Problems with Voodoo 3

hi

i am running a 300a(450)/2.2v on a bh6 with
a voodoo 3 3000,when i start my pc everything
works fine when windows 98 starts,but some-
times when i start a game or change the re-
solution of my desktop the screen is messed
up,i can still run the pc but the screen is
messed up,when i do a retstart 2-3 times
everything is fine again,i already replaced
the heathink from v3 with stealth 3 cooler
any help would be cool

I read somewhere that some games respond to the F5 or Scroll lock for screen refresh.

Is this when a game might crash? Ive had the same problem with some of my games that crash to windows everynow and then. Just grab quickres from microsofts powertoys pack and put it in your startup, then when your game messes up you can go back to your original resolution.

Be sure you video isn't cached or shadowed in the CMOS. THis will really screw up the screens when you switch resolution.
