Hi guys! Here is one simple question: Keep my Stealth 64 Vram with 4Mb PCI or change by an AGP video card using a chipset made by Trident(9750)with 4Mb too(very cheaper)? For 3D games I have one VoodooII with 8Mb that run like hell. I ask because in 2D my card only achieve, in wintune97, 23 Mpixels/s at 1024x768 32 bits. And I really need one PCI slot free, using the AGP slot I can use the PCI slot for my new sound card(Blaster LIVE)(at now I'm using a AWE64 form Creative, ISA card).
Thanks in advance for any opinion! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

I guess it would depend on how much you doing in 2D. If you're playing 2D games or doing things like photo-editing, then I'd upgrade (but I'm not sure how much, if any, of an upgrade Trident is over what you already have).
I have a Viper 770 AGP card, and just to give ya something to think about I switched my desktop to your resolution & color depth (1024x768x32) and ran Wintune97.
I get: 159 Mpixels/s
My old Stealth II S220 video card got: 73 Mpixels/s
Stealth II's are pretty cheap, you might think about picking up one of those. My last one cost $5. (It was $30 w/$25 rebate.)

Tnx Out! Really appreciate your post, how you can see, my actual Video Board is very slow indeed, I don't play 2D games and rarely use photo creations programs, to be exact I use 2D resolution only to word or excel or things like this and for 3D my VoodooII hold the job.By the way, here, in Brazil, a simple card like S220 have a cost around US$100 and this card based on Trident chipset US$ 30!!
Amazing no? Well, tnx again, hope everything is gonna be allright. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif Ricardo
