Graphics Accelerators

[Pollux]

I have a Creative Labs TNT2 Ultra video card. however i was also under the impression that this was the graphics accelerator as well. could somebody please:
1) tell me the difference
2) tell me how to check which one i have
and...
3) tell me which ones are recommended
