When I bought my second v2 there was no cable, diamond give them away if you ask on their website, or give them a call they'll send you one without bothering to check if you own a diamond product. I actually got two because I hassled them over it taking so long they dispatched another. Bear in mind though they should be free, don't pay for one.

I've looked into this and what I've been told (both from folks who've tried and actually from 3DFX themselves) is that you CANNOT mix different makers of the V2 in SLI. Now maybe someone wants to prove me wrong but like I said that's what I was told.

Only SLI setup I've ever played with was a Diamond Monster 3d 2 mixed with a 3dfx reference board. It worked with reference drivers. Stay away from manufacturer's drivers and you are much more likely to mix some V2 cards of different brands. Still, your mileage may vary. My case is a rather rare one.

I read about one brand a while ago in a PC magazine (sorry, can't remember the specifics) that says it's board can sli with any other V2 board, so it can be done.

The chance of conficts isn't with it. If your gonne do it, do it right.
Get the same ones.
