Hey Pickel,
Just like the Duracell Bunny! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
This is what I use, Positive it saved me more than once. When the battery starts getting low, it will save any open files then properly shut down Windows and turn everything off.

I've got an APS Matrix UPS 3000 with 2 batteries. it wasn't cheap, I use it for my business, but...
It's called R-U-N-T-I-M-E!!!!!!!!
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEdoggies!!! I've had two hour blackouts (the last was some bone-head that snapped a utility pole down the street!!) and I can turn off everthing leisurely and orderly (7 systems, FAX, printers, scanners, etc.) except for my workstation (Athlon 750 boat) and have easily coasted through the "dark times".
If you don't have an UPS, do yourself a favor and get one. Even a 150VA UPS will save your skin in a pinch.
Love them batteries...
