I need a video card thats under 100 dolloars. This card will be used for some gaming, but not to much and then just normal everyday use. No overclocking ability is required. Thanks in advance http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I would go with anything Nvidia TNT or higher, also 3Dfx Voodoo - boy just about any of the generics can be had for $100.

I have an AGP Savage4/16 cost $59 and a PCI Voodoo Banshee/16 and the Voodoo actually is a bit better at some things - still no renedring 3D in 32bit mode though. Also it is worth mentioning that the 3Dfx and Nvidia chipset cards are supported by popular alternative operating systems - Linux/BeOS whereas the Savage4 is a bit tricky to get drivers for these (I have done it). On this current system I am using the Savage4.

Voodoo 2 16MB PCI - $99 - great for mild gaming - lovely resolutions - inexpensive - can get it off Amazon.com for a little less, I think.

I would recommend you visit the steals and deals forum to get a $50 gift certificate from Buy.Com. Then get the best Nvidia based card you can afford.

Get a voodoo3 2000, it is about $89 on the web. Awesome card, great speed with a low price tag.
