I just bought Real 3D's Starfighter 24 mb 2D/3D graphics card and I want to know If I can still use the Matrox m3D accelerator card I have.

you probably could, but i'll bet that even the intel i740 chip would beat the m3d without any help at all.
wouldn't hurt to try it though, since the m3d is a 3d only card. just choose a game that supports the m3d, go into the graphics setting and switch between primary graphics card (i740), and the m3d. betcha the i740 will go faster and look better. if not, post it here! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Well... The M3D is a 3D card, but I think that you'll find that the 740 chipset is a lot better than the Power VR PCX 2 chipset.

m3d was quite good at the time, i still have one paired with a mystique in another machine, but i must say that by todays standard its ****, however it should work alongside most cards
