If anyone could point me to a good website, or websites, that compare SCSI to IDE in detail, and include technical descriptions of the capabilities of each, I would be most grateful. My company has a compaq server with a SCSI drive array (RAID 5) running MS SQL server. We're wondering if some of the user slowdown we're seeing is related to the drive controller, and want to examine details like throughput, CPU utilization, etc.
