Anyone have any idea what would make my monitor suddenly jump out of frequency?
Does it under any cercumstances. Could be on the web, working on the pc, or playing a game...the monitor suddenly jumps out of frequency?Have to hit ESC. to get it back and or restart the pc??? Have the most recent drivers for the video card and the most recent driver for the monitor?

the video card controls the refresh freq. if you card is set to optimum try setting it to adapter default in the display advanced settings, if it still does look in your monitor manual and see what rates it supports and set it manually in the settings to one of the supported rates.

My EV700 did that right before it started turning different colors, and I had to send it back.

This is my second EV700. The first one suddenly went dark on my. Had the brightness and contrast up all the way so I could use it. You think this monitor is going crazy too????That would suck.
