Will the TNT 2 Drivers work with the My STB Velocity 4400 OEM NO TV OUT video card?
Uses the Riva TNT chipset?
Also I have installed a 486 fan on the heat sink. Should I have the fan blow the heat away from the card or to the card/????
Currently I have it pulling the heat away from the heatsink.
Thanks

MrT.
I had successfully installed the TNT2 drivers on the V550. I believe AuraEdge did too with her CreativeLabs TNT. The drivers where downloaded from www.windrivers.com/ (http://www.windrivers.com/) . These are the reference drivers from nVidia. I think they are dated 05/19. I can't locate the drivers at that site anymore. There are new detonator drivers at NVIDIA www.nvidia.com/3Dgraphics/resource_center.html (http://www.nvidia.com/3Dgraphics/resource_center.html) The same file is for both TNT and TNT2. You can give it a try and manually select TNT2 as your card. I haven't tried yet.
Fans on CPUs and graphic processors are place as to force air onto the heatsink.
edit-
This is the first time I've heard of a monitor suddenly going outsync. It sounds like a hardware issue. The monitor, vidcard, or the Motherboards AGP slot.
It could be that if your running a utility like PowerStrip and configured it for presets.. or, both the refresh rates are set from display panel and powerstrip, that may be the cause with your version. PowerStrip is good for overclocking the vidcard. If your having this unusual problem, remove PowerStrip, reinstall it and just use the clock timing settings. Nothing else. Or try a different version of PS. 2.40.01 works good for me.
