Alternate drivers for Voodoo2

Is it possible to use drivers from a different company for your Voodoo 2. I know that the 3dfx reference drivers can be used but I am unsure about others.
If so what seem to be the best drivers out there?

You can either use the drivers from the company that put out your board or from 3dfx. There are also tweaked drivers available from some game sites.
