ok...now this is CRAZY. The rated CL BANSHEE #1 and CL TNT at same price #4. They say the TNT is SLOW IN 3D!!
Is it?
I use the TNT and either Im not expecting enough, or its awesomely fast!!
Are these people stupid?
Aint the TNT better than Banshee In every concievable way?
EDIT
oh
umm
thats under....uh PCI's but are PCI TNT's that bad as to be worse than a Banshee PCI?

The TNT did seem a little slower, plus the screen was very dark in games so I didn't keep the TNT for long. I'm using the Voodoo 3 now and it blows both of them away!

Surpisingly, the Banshee is faster than the TNT PCI on average. The reason is that the TNT AGP uses direct memory execution for large texture storage, the PCI version can't because of bus limitations, so the TNT chipset is forced to use the onboard memory, nothing else. The Banshee does not require direct memory execution, no matter what version you buy. Since the Banshee is almost as fast a TNT on the AGP bus (where the TNT can use large amounts of memory); it will flatten a TNT on the PCI bus (where the TNT can't store ultra large textures)! I agree with spdsk8r, the v3 rules for Win9x users right now. For NT, go for the new Diamond Fire GL 1, it uses IBM's 256 bit!!!! graphics engine with 32 meg of memory which makes it one of the fastest prodution cards today; all for less than $1000 US. I hope one of my CAD friends order one soon, so I can try Quake at 300+ frames per second!
