Win95
300a@450
192MB RAM
CL TNT
CL SBLIVE
DM2 8MB

In my bios I set the AGP size to 64, In the windows control panel I can set my D3D to use more than 5 MB(default) but when I tell Glide to use more that 5 MB, games like quake 2, kingpin all freeze on startup (doesn't even get to the menu). What the hell is going on?

Plus, How do I make the video quality look better? On my old Matrox Mystique fullscreen video clips look smooth, but these same video clips look blocky with my TNT..What gives????Something to do with dvideo.dll ??

Also, 3d mark 99 gave me a score of 2605 with my 8MB DM2 @ 800x600...But now im only getting like 2300....What would cause such a drop in score?

Also I've got;
1 - 128 MB (100MHz)
2 - 32 MB (66MHz)

Are the 2 x 32's slowing my system down? Am I better off with them or without them?

Also, Detinator drivers cause certain games not to work...are much of an improvement do they really do??

I presume everything is updated right? Games, drivers, Bios', patches...

Take no offense but I don't understand what possessed you to mix 100MHz and 66MHZ dimms.

Can't say about playback of the video clips but possibly mismatched/corrupt driver or related file, or a bad installation.

The detonator software shouldn't be causing these problems. They are reference drivers that form the foundation for the OEM drivers.
Stick with the most recent CL drivers.

The first thing you should do is remove the 66's.
Place system Bios in default Optimal settings with any (if at all) necessary changes.
Check to see if the MB needs a particular chipset driver (AGP, UDMA, whatever) install them if available.
Clock back to production speeds.
Reinstall and updated all drivers.
Re-update game patches.
(Reinstalling the games might even be a good idea. Make copy of your "saved games" folders.)

I think these are the basic things to consider doing first. Don't overclock until the system is stable.
