Does anybody have any experience which would tell you which manufacturer is better? I can buy either brand for basically the same price.

I never heard of them. These are monitor manufactures, I presume. At whatever price it is, take a look here first and see if there is a more established brand that you can choose in a comparable range. http://www.buy.com/bc/text/monitors.asp?

Thanks for the input. Buycomp shows a 19" KDS for $350 that I have heard good thing about. It supposedly has the Trinitron mask which gets it down to .25 dot pitch.
