I'm using Freetech's TERCEL P5F93 with ALi Aladdin 5 (M1541/1543) Chipset motherboard. What type of BIOS settings that needs to be configuring in order to run my Graphic Blaster Riva TNT in full performance? What type of drivers I need? I have installed the driver comes with my Graphic Blaster Riva TNT properly but I have got really low FPS in every game when I compare to my old Intel740 chipset. For example, when I play Forsaken, firstly I get the FPS around 60. Then when a lot of units appear with a lot of Gun shoot, the games run into FPS around 20 or even worst, sometimes the game may result hang. Is this Normal for a K6-2 3DNow 300MHz with 100 Mhz Bus speed & 100MHz 32SDRAM? Another problem, is it the Nvidia refference driver compatible to Graphic Blaster Riva TNT? Do I need a cooling fan for the Graphic Blaster Riva TNT even I did not overclock it? Finally, why is the game Final Fantasy 7 shows a lot of lines when the game start even I had already installed the Riva TNT patch into the game's directory? Hope you can help me or my card will become the world's worst card! Thanks a lot.

Try these tips:
In Bios:
-Disable Pallette Snooping
-Shawdow Video Bios
-Cache Video Bios (if applicable)
In Win9x:
-Use latest refernce graphics driver set from nVidia. Make sure yor use the "Detonator" driver set.
-Get latest version of MiroSoft DirectX, which is ver 6.1
Hope this helps a little. I wish I had more info, but most of the desktop systems I build are based on the 3dfx Banshee, and recently v3, chipsets.

First I would get atleast another 32MB RAM, 32 is nothing, I have 160MB and I could still use more! Another thing to try, is download the Hercules TNT drivers. It lets you set your vid. card's speeds a lot higher than others:
Engine Clock: 90 - 115Mhz.
Memory Clock: 110 - 135Mhz.
I saw a good performance increase with these drivers! I have a Creative Labs TNT and these drivers work fine with this card...

only intel harddisk??? surely you must jest..my friend has a k62 400 system overclocked to 448 on 112 bus, w/ 128mb ram, and he has a viper v550 that runs just fine, it needs a fan on it to keep cool, but it's not hurting for any processor power that's for sure, now 300, that might be a little slim, but I'm SURE the k63's would be MORE than adequate, and k62's say around 400 or above
