I have a system with a Cyrix 300 ( yeah i know itīs slow!!!), 64 MB SDRAM, a matrox mystique 4mb and a Matrox M3D. I have NO AGP-Slot. Is there any chance to fasten up the system with a better PCI 3d graphics-adapter?? Maybe a Banshee or Riva TNT Card. Or replace the m3d with a voodoo 2 ??
thanks Gunter

You will realize speed benefits with the PCI TNT cards. On one system, I configured two Sony 21" flat screens with a the Viper 550 AGP/PCI. The PCI is no slouch.
I would forego the Voodoo2 and get the Voodoo3 PCI. If Voodoo is the route your going. You could wait for the TNT2. But for your system the TNT should do fine.
It will fit a $77 budget.

Drop your money on a Voodoo3. 3dfx cards utilize less cpu power. esp. the floating point unit, than TNT-based cards do. The Cyrix 300 is decent with integer calculations, but it seriously lags in floating point math. I follow this rule, use TNT with Intel, use 3dfx for anything else. Another benifit of the 2d/3d 3dfx cards, their graphical driver interface for Windows in entirely in hardware, not software like the TNT or Rage Fury.
