saw the Princeton Ultra72 17 inch monitor w/ 15.8inch viewing area in Costco for $200. Is this a good monitor or good brand??

I don't know. I wouldn't buy Princeton for myself though.
They have a least 4 17" models. The lowest price I saw here http://www.buy.com/bc/text/searchresults.asp?qu=&hardsoft=hard&search_id=30502&mfg_id=1243 is $184. The refresh rates and the highest resolutions are the differences.
If you could spend an extra $200 or so in the near future, wait and get at least a 19" screen. You'll be glad.

Returned the Princeton and I am buying a 17" CTX 26. dot pitch w/ 16 view. $279. Is this better? Can't really spend $400+ on a 19" right now.
