Banshee & Voodoo 2

Will I get any performance improvement if I add up a Voodoo2 accelerator to my Monster Fusion Banshee card? I've seen some integrators offer such a combination.

The performance gain does not offest the cost. The Banshee can be used with a seperate v2 card, but it completely disables the 3d core of the Banshee card, thus giving you an overpriced 2d video card. All 3d functions are handled directly by the v2 card in this config. As far as overall performance, a Banshee lags behind a v2 only a few percent. The only time the v2 will beat the Banshee is when games support true multitexturing. My thoughts: Wait for the V3 3500 or the UltraTNT2 before looking for an uprgrade.
