Mem Clock:110 Mhz to 120 Mhz
Chip Clock:90 Mhz to 105 Hhz
Now , the card is overheating. Getting EXTREMELY HOT.
Any suggestions on how to cool this thing.
I don't have any place to put an extra fan, already using 2 to cool Processor.

Attach a 486 fan or one that has a low profile to the heatsink on the STB.
If you have one on already, you can replace it with a larger heatsink/fan combo.
Place a larger fan to direct airflow to the card(s) Attach it with Velco to the case if you must.
Replace you your existing intake and exhaust fans with ones that move more air per Cubic Feet/Min.

make sure you have good airflow thru your computer, assuming you have a deck fan pullin air in and a powersupply fan pushing air out. make sure cables are not in the road of the airflow, move your cards around to get the best air to your vid card. You still need to add a fan to the stb, cause the tnt runs hot anyway and the stb's were not shipped with fans. put a fan on the heatsink or if you have one add another to the back, directly behind the chip. just make sure the fan doesnt touch any pins on the board to create a short
The heatsink sits upsidedown???And is pretty small. Are there fans that small, and is it going to affect the performance being that the heatsink is facing down? p.s. I took one side of the pc off, and installed a case fan, to blow accross the video card. the only problem is that I can't put the side of the case back on because I would block the air flow to the fan.Any suggestions.

Run the PC with the CASE always Off.. Mine's got a bottom and a shell... Make sure you get as much contact as possible with the actuall core to the heatsink... and screew the fan directly to the heatsink, by using a small length / with a thread that fits SNUG in between the heatsink's grooves. Ball bearing fans rule... Hey.. BTW when are all of us going to get the the point where we wire in +20V Fan's for that 10000RPM cooling?
Where do I find one that small????I have tried some computer places, and have had no luck...the heatsink is pretty small...???

you can use any 486 fan. If you want a lower profile fan, look to TennMax's Lasagna.

Sounds good, the lower profile fan will work a little better...think I will try it..
Thanks
