I am considering a new card and like the features of this one. I do use the tv now for gameplay and would like a card that can also capture and has a tuner in for some added features. Is it a good chipset for current 3d games like Rogue, Quake2 and unreal? I use the system for everything from games to spreadsheets. Thanks for your input http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
To be installed in a bx6-2.0, cel 300a @464 with 64 pc100 ram.

Well, if your going to pay abou $100 for your video card, why don't you get the Matrox Mystique G200? Has TV out (in fact the best TV out I've seen!), it also has a better bus then the All in wonder, and has real decent 3D graphics to boot. Just my optinion (I'm sort of biases against ATI though)

The last time I tried this ATI card the latest drivers made the windows fonts blurry. I found that excrutiatingly annoying. The Matrox Marvel is pretty nifty. If you have time you might want to wait for ATI's new all-in-wonder based on the Rage 128.

ati sucks.....go and get a voodoo banshee board...
i have a quantum 3d Raven....its great....
glide and d3d performace is great.....along with the 2d performance....
Don't just take users' word for your decision. Do some research. www.tomshardware.com (http://www.tomshardware.com) and www.anandtech.com (http://www.anandtech.com) agree the Asus V3400 TNT is best right now. Also available w/TV out.
Go there and find out why (toms first).

If you need the tuner built-in, ATi All-in-Wonder Pro is quite good. It has pretty good 2D performace and is capable of light 3D. The great thing about ATi's video cards is they hardly have incompatibily problem. Their card normally run without problems on both Super 7 and Slot 1. ATi is still developing OpenGL ICD for Rage Pro based card, but it's D3D is pretty good now. If you want to play Unreal & Quake II on TV, you probably should look other options.

That ATI is just a middle of the road graphics card now...why buy it just for TV? You will ecstatic with a Riva TNT. I got the $99 Leadtec Winfast 3D 16MB (Riva TNT) and it makes my ATI 3D Expression PC to TV look sick. The winfast has much better TV out as well.
