I installed a diamond stealth II PCI video card in a friend's computer. When he plays any games, there are four screens displayed. He is using an old monitor that only works in 640X480. The games are set to play in the same setting. What could be the problem? It doesn't do this in other programs like word, et......

The monitor only does 640x480?!!!! He should be upgrading his monitor before his video card. Anyways, could be it's trying to use to high of refresh rate. There is a utility call HtzTool that you can find at

Björns 3D World http://www.bjorn3d.com

This site is mainly for owners of video cards with the Rendition chipset, such as the Stealth 2. (I'm assuming it's a Stealth II S220. If it's the other SII, the G640 or whatever, then sorry you're on your own.) If you need to know ANYTHING about the Rendition chipset, Björns is the #1 place to go.

it is the refresh rate at which the game configures the video board and monitor....older monitors didn't support the refresh rates that these do...
