i have my computer for a year now, but never got a chance to overclock it,
I would like to try to overclock, I have a Pentium 3-500 mhz (slot 1), abit BE6-ll mainboard,256 pc100 memory. any suggestion is grealy appreciated,,,
Also if there's any modification is required,,, such as what kind of cooling fan do I need to change..thanks

Well you can't o/c by changing the mulitplier, that's locked on all intel cpu's since the deschutes core Pentium II's. You'll have to increase the FSB, one problem could be your memory though, it's PC100 and with that cpu it's already run at it's spec speed. Try and increase the FSB in small increments until you start getting problems then back it down.
