I've got a Abit KT7A M/B with a 800MHz Duron processor.
In the M/B manual it says that the M/B supports 'Durons from 600MHz-850MHz or future Socket A Processors based on 200MHz'
and ' Athlons 700MHz-1.2GHz or future socket A processors based on 200MHz/266MHz'

I wanted to ask that could i put a 950MHz Duron in there?
Also could i over clock the chip to more than 850MHz?

The KT7a will support Athlon/Duron up to 1.2 GHZ. Provided you unlock the chip, you can overclock.

Hope that helps.

Yeh as long as they're 200mhz FSB.
