Looking for some general information: where is the date and time attached to an email message? By the sender? server? Is it taken from the clock of the sender's machine? Do different email programs treat time and date differently? And if someone's email consistently sends email with the same date (i.e. 01/01/96 06:00)where is the problem? Have been asked this question several times, and have no idea where the time and date stamp is applied.
Hello,
It is always a server time.
Answer on the second question might be a problem with the server time specially if they do unsuccessful sinhronization.
